What a day for everyone connected to Aberdeen FC Ladies U12s yesterday, especially for all 11 players( plus our mascot!). A brilliant achievement in reaching the final of the U13 Scottish Cup at such a young age.
Our opponents, Hearts U13s, were a really good team with some terrifically talented players. It was a total joy to watch a great game played in such a positive environment with supporters of both teams mixing and enjoying each other’s company…exactly what football at this age level should be all about!
Delighted that our girls will play in the final game of the ladies season at Toryglen against formidable opponents Glasgow City, and no matter the outcome the AFCL U12s have shown that football development is alive and kicking at our club and in the region.
