Development 3 Reserves 2
Following last weeks games with both teams picking up 3 points both teams suffered key player injuries going into the club derby. The biggest loss being the Reserves first choice Keeper who is out for 3 Months with a broken wrist.
Reserves were well on top in the first 20 mins and were on a comfortable 2-0 lead. By half time the Development had fought hard and pulled back the 2-0 deficit and were finishing the half on a well deserved 2-2 score line with MCKENZIE grabbing both for Development.
The Development team came out the second half the way they finished the first have and were rewarded with a goal half way through the second half when the Reserve Keeper spilled the ball on her goal line and BROWN followed up with an easy tap in.The Reserves pushed for an equaliser and almost got it in the last minute, but it was keeper Lauren Dawson with a terrific save to see the Development hold on to their 3-2 victory.
